Solar Eclipse

This morning we learned about the earth orbiting the sun, the moon orbiting the earth, and what happens when the moon gets right between the sun and the earth making a shadow – a solar eclipse! We took note of the relative size of the sun, the earth, and the moon. Notice in our ball model the earth is blue and has a face on it. That is because our planet is made mostly of water and it is where people live. Quiz us tonight. We are exceptional astronomers!
