Indianapolis 500 Fun!

The children of Beech Tree House Center for Child Development enjoyed a great visit with some of the Indianapolis 500 Princesses this morning.  Thank you Lauren, Emma, and Maggie for teaching us about the Indianapolis 500 – the parade, the race, the flags, the winner’s milk, and all the special events! l l lllllllllllll

C’est magnifique!

Did you know the Eiffel Tower was originally built as the entrance arch for the World’s Fair in 1889?  Our Tiger Class learned about it this week during their study of France.  Some of the boys even decided to engineer their own version of the famous structure! l lllllllllllll           

Dinosaur Dig!

Our young “paleontologists” enjoyed a recent dig where they found whole dinosaurs in the rock and created impression fossils! l llllllllllll             l llllllllllll               

“Dress Like Texas” Day!

This week Beech Tree House Center for Child Development children enjoyed a “Dress Like Texas” day of donations to the American Red Cross.    We extend our love and prayers to all those affected by Hurricane Harvey and now Irma!  Over $1700 was collected and is on the way to help with relief efforts.

Music Recital

The children of Beech Tree House Center for Child Development and Curtis Wilson Primary School and Academy, performed in a music recital on Sunday to a packed house.  The audience enjoyed sounds of the violin, piano, and our Pop Choir.  We congratulate our young musicians and their teacher – Miss “S” for an awesome job! l llllllll
